Goodbye America: the gates are opening

Hello there, friends and youth Americans (“bipoc” and “white race traitors“).

I hope you will forgive me for my rough English.

Many of us were seeing and saying during recent years that America is crumbling.

When a social historical construct begins to collapse, social relationships break down. Social relationships are an exchange contract in the context of the mode of production that defines the social classes all linked to each other even if the link is conflictual ( what it is defined as class struggle). It is time to admit that class struggle and conflict between social classes have a historical trajectory that develop under the aegis of the commodity market and the production of value, which, in the context of its unitary development, has characterized the Western supremacy and the white supremacy. The history of social conflict could not, in materialistic terms, ignore the fact that human needs are satisfied by commodities, and therefore the reproduction of living conditions requires the production of commodities and the reification of life itself. This is what we would reckon as a double “slavery” that link the “salary” and the “profit” each other submitted by the impersonal law of the accumulation motion.

I was ever thinking that American Civil war tender is unstoppable when real facts occurring have begun showing very first cracks. But I could not imagine what would be the turning point, when it would happen and what would be its shapes. Especially I was not thinking it was going to happen so quickly. History always surprises the revolutionaries that need fight against the status quo. Nothing happens in a manner like we were imagining before. But now we are in front of the gates are opening towards a new American civil war. The “America is crumbling” is happening even faster. Piece by piece, at the rapid steps, the historical building is fracturing and decomposing.

What is happening now has nothing to do with the tradition of class struggle or class warfare. It is not moving towards its revival. The unified crisis of a general mode of production is pushing towards the end of a historical era, and not only in the United States. It is a chain of dominoes that is collapsing, bringing down first and foremost the highest link in the historical motion of the relationship between humans and the means of production and nature: the so-called Western civilization.

It is more about the contemporary war between the so-called global “city” or “metropolis” and the so-called global “countryside” or “periphery“. Mainly it is the fundamental trajectory of the contradiction between the city economy and farming economy has reached the actual level of the world market development. The countryside are a peoples and nations defined by Western colonialism, rich in natural resources, which can compete with the West only on the basis of what the long centuries of colonialism have defined them. Then, even when the periphery competes with the West trying to free from the submission of the metropolis, it can’t avoid the exchange with western powers, and the exchange law prevails reproducing the violent domain against racialized peoples of colors. The countryside provides not only seeds, grain, soil, and water, but also oils, minerals, and rare metals, and continues to be the source of the contemporary slave trade. Thus, this contemporary war between city and countryside concerns the decisive factors for the entire production of value. The exploitation of natural resources and the production chain of rare metals in the countries of the Global South is still being plundered by most industrialized and wealthy countries, especially by the West.

New rare metals are at the heart of the new industry, no longer anchored to coal, steel, traditional machinery manufacturing and the automotive factories. They are more closely linked to semiconductors, microchips and data center, the new cathedrals and their tapestries of this capitalist era. Traditional industries need top-quality machinery made with microchips and semiconductors to survive the market competition. The US military industry depends on this chain to maintain its military superiority and effectively depends on China to manufacture modern technological weapons. Microchips, semiconductors and the energy needed to activate their productive power play the role that coal and steam engine played in the past. The power of US currency (and of all traditional currencies) and of the petrodollar is waning in the face of new structural realities: owning, producing, accumulating raw materials and the ability to transform them into machinery defines the unit of measurement of value. The West has become dependent on and suffers from competition from raw materials produced in Asia, Latin America and Africa. West crisis includes also the unavailability to produce by itself the modern machinery.

During the 18th and 19th centuries, European and Western powers were unstoppable thanks to their ability to act as a coal reserve for all other nations in the world forced to chase the tumultuous development of the West. Today, the West depends on the global countryside and the so-called periphery for all aspects of its mode of production. The world has woken up and realized that the West has suddenly become a parasitic appendix, no longer capable of producing goods and therefore of meeting the needs of areas of the world with growing populations. The commodity form is on the verge of losing its power.

The turning point of this mode of production, that history gave the name of capitalism, is: the tumultuous productivity reached to accumulate value consumes its fundamental elements faster than their reproduction. Thus it can’t go further having exhausted its capacity to self reproduce. The contemporary city (or imperialism) is living over an accumulation of value that results in an accumulation of infinite debt, in opposite with the finite physical space of nature is constantly raped and demolished. The imperialistic whiteness reality cannot survive without a never-ending war against the countryside, while western (and Chinese as well) demography is declining.

Marx was understanding the cyclical crisis pushed by the overproduction were compensated by commodity demands growth, middle class growth through its constant reproduction, and especially by the demographic population growth.

USA, that certainly occupies an exceptional space into the historical motion, got vantages by the colonialism, settler colonialism, slavery, racism and therefore by the capacity to absorb and quickly assimilate the white European exceptional surplus of population across three centuries.

The today image of masked ICE or DHS agents hunting down anyone who is not white, seizing a man or woman on the street or kidnapping at their workplace, is the documentary movie of history testifying 500 years of western slavery and systemic racism. The federal agents in action are the modern-day version of the Fugitive Slave Act of 1793, which formalized the role of bounty hunters, who, in addition to hunting down fugitives from the slavery plantations, could kidnap any black man not having the freedom certificate, bring him back in chains to a slave state and sell him into the market as a slave again. The close similarities hide the truth. The fugitive from the plantation or the former slave without the certificate was forced in chain again under the slavery condition. The current life condition of an immigrant person that does not have documents is proper the current shape of the modern slavery. It is not only into the United States, but it is into the whole civilized nations. You can see at the modern Italian countryside where farms and agrobusiness use immigrant’s workforce for the hard soil labor. Slums spring up spontaneously near the farm enterprises doing business with the great agrobusiness corporations and the multinational distribution chains. The shanty towns, not legal or legalized by Italian administrative policies, are governed by progressive NGOs and are circled by police or army forces. Here, in Italy, the slavery is painted by “humanity” and “solidarism”, while progressive left and democratic liberals makes affairs. The same European and Italian NGOs that save immigrants traversing the Mediterranean Sea, then ask more Italian police to the port locations and fixed naval army deployment near these sea coasts that “welcome” the new human trafficking.

All United States small and medium farms use workforce made up to the 70% by immigrants and almost all of them do not have regular documents. They are constrained to flee the modern plantation, forced to choose between the modern slavery and the deportation, in the hope that their sacrifice will give hope to their children born in America. Therefore, if they can escape to the whip of DHS and ICE, they are not free, they can just live as captive fugitives. It happens because the general value accumulation crisis stopped any chance to assimilate or to integrate immigrants. It has been easy to accommodate and fast assimilate European immigrants, poor peasants and large layers of poorest proletariat into the USA, giving them soon the social vantage of the white privilege when the historical process of the capitalistic market was violently ascending. During the more recent decades, the United States have been still continued to grow its population, workforce and domestic market demands through a new immigration flows from Latin America, Africa and Asia. But the ascending time of the general accumulation has been stopped.

Different historical time, different materialistic factors.

The first American civil war was not about to abolish slavery. Leftism and liberalism thought the ascending motion of the capitalism development was nullifying the slavery to re-shape black slaves into a black working class for the North factories. History has proven the contrary; it is a false stereotype. In fact only around the second world war north factories began to engage black workers in great number. What the industrialization of the northern states needed was the revolution into the production relations in agriculture. The rapid development of accumulation needed to find an outlet for the production of machinery; in essence, plantation had to undergo a process of technical restructuring and of labor reorganization. As with the new settlers involved in the rush to the West settlement, the supply had to be that of machinery force, not slaves force, to achieve the level of productivity corresponding to the exceptional development of capitalist accumulation. In fact, the former slaves remained stuck on the plantations and violently segregated by the Jim Crow laws. While European immigration was filling the factories of white proletarians and covering the workforce needs, the class conflict was always recomposed inside the framework of the social advantage that systemic racism granted. The real goal of the first civil war was not to free the slaves because factories needed black workforce, but to follow the impulse of the machinery industry fast development must sell machinery: the abolition of slavery was only a secondary consequence, leaving the segregationist system intact.

Marx was initially deluded and then deeply disappointed after the abolition of slavery, seeing that the US working class movement was unionizing and organizing politically, but this process continued to take place within the confines of whiteness and racism. The Western class struggle, especially in the United States, has always been compatible by systemic racism articulated by the process of accumulation. It’s time to learn from history so as not to throw the baby out with the bathwater: what Marx and Engels hoped when writing the Communist Manifesto has been disproved by history. It is no coincidence that after the end of the American Civil War, Marx acted more to dissolve the International than to develop it.

Historical times have changed. Now American states such as California and Texas are alien realities compared to what the United States of America used to be before. London and Paris have also become so. They are no longer predominantly “white”, “Europeans”. Those who do not take into account the radical implications, what historical process has determined it and what subversive upheavals they are preparing, and want to cling to the free will of a “subjectivity of one class” that decides “arbitrarily” its own “nature”, are doing metaphysic exercises useless to the revolutionary cause. In the name of this idealism we saw far-leftism was predicating a non-sense for decades: that the Palestinian struggle must look at the Israeli working-class. These far-left wings now predicates to look at the left Zionism or liberal Zionism, or more consequently in the name of the supremacy of the working class idealism they stand up at the side of Israel that developed a modern proletariat.

The United States, but also many other Western countries (Britain, France, Belgium and the Nordic countries) are faced with the impossibility of assimilating or integrating decades of immigration flows from the Global South, which has served to grow the population, the domestic market and to satisfy the necessities of accumulation. They are in danger of being overwhelmed by consequences of their same whiteness systemic structure. Between the lines of the new American civil war currently underway, there is not simply the mass deportation of immigrant people, there is the “sanitization” of whiteness carried out by something more akin to ethnic cleansing.

When a historical social construct is collapsing, social classes either dissolve or act in a reactionary rather than conservative manner to defend the status quo.

A modern wave of right-wing white nationalist liberalism (which includes the middle class and working class that were made to feel part of the white American Dream regardless of skin color) looks violently towards the resurrection of what is collapsing. Since this is a resurrection from death, religion remains a powerful ideological tool. But religion, far from being the opium of the peoples, reflects the special legacy of man’s relationship with the soil used as a means of production. The evangelism of white settlers represents settlement colonialism and its right of ownership over stolen lands and over Africans kidnapping brought in chains to the “new golden continent”. The religion for Black Americans, on the other hands, represents the need to rebuild the Black family dissolved and denied by slavery. Conversely, and for different purposes, religion realizes an ideological aspect of actual materialistic needs. Those who do not understand the fundamental importance of the relationship between humans and the means of nature and the soil, especially in places where genocide and ethnic cleansing are taking place, and how this relationship is reflected in religions, will look at what is happening in the Levant and the Palestinian resistance through the eyes of white supremacy and Eurocentrism.

Faced with the general crisis, the practical working-class movement is moving conservatively, and therefore can only disperse, disintegrate, or be captured by right-wing liberal nationalism. In essence, its movement as a class is becoming conservative and in defense of the status quo. The UAW general strike against the three major north American automakers, that has been an unprecedented general strike for the American history, which took place from mid-September 2023 to late October 2023, has revealed again this reality: « Saving the American Dream » was the leitmotif of the autoworkers’ strike and picket lines. « The Union made Michigan, and workers made the middle class » has been said during the Detroit workers’ demonstration. The social uplift brought about by past accumulation and class struggle has only strengthened the double slavery that binds wages and profit to the impersonal law of value. In practical terms, racism has become one of the steadfast pillars of the social fabric. Even when it appears to have vanished or diminished in times of abundance, it remains intact because at the foundation of the actual process of history are five hundred years of colonialism and slavery, driven by the impersonal laws of the mode of production whose aim is to accumulate value.

After that struggle against Ford, General Motors and Stellantis and in the next months, proletarians, as a labor movement, never called for a single hour of strike action with the purpose to stop the ongoing Palestinian genocide. Although during the current days, we observe many union activists opposing ICE raids in Greater Los Angeles, and other ordinary workers boycotting federal agents’ raids, they act as ordinary people, and we see no sings of a working class movement on the field. What is at stake it is not about a generic “American Dream” through a conflictual concertation with capital, but something even more crucial, one that undermines the very existence of social classes in the West: saving the historical social fabric build by five hundred years of Western civilizations around the world, which in recent decades has exploited the immigration of peoples of color without ever being able to assimilate or integrate anymore in large number as new “House Negroes.”

And frankly, from the perspective of a dying Western civilization, the racists and nationalist liberals are consequent, the left-wing liberals are wrong. The status quo is impossible. Therefore, Trump is consequent, Macron is consequent, Merz is consequent, Meloni is consequent, Stramer is consequent, and even Netanyahu is consequent. This isn’t about fascism; it’s about the very nature of Western democracy, which is facing its decline, and attempts to save Western civilization, liberal democracy, and Western individual rights for women, gays, and transgender people, including the right to organize and dissent, require a genocide. In a sentence: “liberalism” and “progressivism” require the genocide and the ethnic cleansing of colored people, blacks, browns, Arabs, and Muslims from the United States and Europe.

Fighting them in the name of antifascism is a joke, nothing more than a different shape of the conservative status quo defense.

Revolutionary times.

To continue the race to accumulate value (goods, capital, and social wages marked by white supremacy), Western societies, in response to demographic decline, had to expand their population through forced immigration from the so-called Global South. The European reserve was already exhausted in the middle of the past century. Combined with violent imperialist plunder, new waves of immigration have began to come from the former colonies still under the heel of imperialism and neocolonialism. The West had to and was able to assimilate or integrate the new Black and Brown diaspora for a short time. This was and remains a necessity of the mode of production, whose purpose is the production and accumulation of value, that requires a growing population to offset the crisis of overproduction. The crisis of accumulation has reshaped this process, which had success in the past but no longer do now. It has created a new impersonal trait that reverses the assimilation: the new generations of the “metropolis” have begun to be assimilated from the point of view of the children and descendants of the new diasporas from the racialized and colonized “peripheries.”

Malcom X said slavery made two kinds of “negroes”: the “field negro” and the “house negro”. This is so true that a son of Kenyan man, that has been graduated in the USA, then he moved back into his Kenya homeland, and then wrote a pamphlet about the Africa socialist roads, this son differently by his father became the USA president and the first Afro American president that bombed the Africa continent. But in front of how many are the “house negroes” transitioning to the right nationalism and to the western liberalism ranks, much more are “white race traitors” of the western civilization between the new generations. This happens because the unitary crisis of a mode o production made stuck the development and the social elevator into the West, therefore commodities by the mode of production are felt toxics, without any taste at the new generations eyes.

When a knee struck the neck and killed a Black man on May 28, 2020, we witnessed the unexpected greatest uprising of the United States history and its long-lasting wave on many countries of the Western civilization. What has overthrown by these waves of rebellion in addition to the burned police districts? The statues of Christopher Columbus, statues of slaveholders, symbols that represent the glories and successes of the Western Enlightenment, has been toppled with impetus. It has been a first timid momentum from the inside in submitting five hundred years of Western civilization to the judgment of history – the violence of the imperialism “city” against the global “countryside“.

Later, a further shock has surprised the west and us.

The next shock could have been an aggressive war against the Sahel rebel states, but it has been the 7th October of the Palestinian resistance. Near few weeks before the al-Aqsa flood event, during the mid of September the EU was just preparing an aggressive and violent move and European sacred alliance against the insurgency of Sahel peoples, when Hamas and the Palestinian resistance had no choice but to courageously break down the wall shocking the whole west and opening the Pandora’s box.

The objective link between the global countryside is forced to kick in the ass the western civilization and the inside western crumbling is so evident. As it is so clear, the revolution in motion has nothing to do with the shapes of the class struggle that we were expecting.

We have just witnessed in Italy twelve exceptional days of blockades that have no precedent in the history of Italian social conflict. The Italy is the most coward entity of the whole West. Behind its workerism legacy there’s nothing more than a metaphysical idealism that became the reactionary status quo defense. Nobody has blocked the country looking towards his or her immediate interests of proletarian primary needs. It has not been about the welfare, it has not been about the wages and working hours, it has not been about the spaces of democracy or the individual (or individualistic) rights. It has been about the western active participation into the Palestinian genocide. It was a composite mass action against the myth of Western democracy that is fading and parasitizing in the new genocidal landscape.

We did not witness traditional shapes of the working-class movement during these extraordinary days. Proletarians and not proletarians were blocking roads and railroads not as working class but as something else we can’t still understand thoroughly. We saw young people, with Palestinian youth at the forefront, enthusiastically rallying middle-aged and elderly people into action. And we saw them reclaim a historic instrument, the general strike, for use by a multifaceted movement that took up the gauntlet to the West and its manufactured creature, Israel, already implemented by the Palestinian resistance and Hamas two years ago. In hindsight, it was the long-lasting wave of a persistent international mobilization unparalleled in modern history.

Many are trying to ride this sudden wave, suggesting strategical general political views without any success. The wave has its peak and its low tide like it would seem now. We should not expect a progressive accumulation of forces, and anything cannot repeat again in the same manner. What it is proven, it is the necessity pushes “we must act, without to know how and what to do, because forced to move by needs”. Frightened liberals and the indifferent far left are trying to portray as a confused pacifist and humanitarian motion of sentiments. The real nature of what happened is in the written words of some of the most important Italian liberal thinker – Ernesto Galli della Loggia – that claimed few days ago during a congress at the CNEL (National Council for Economy and Labor) and in front of the cream of the Italian establishment (or bourgeoisie): « when I faced the Israeli violence and which level it was reaching, and I doubted if this terrible cruelty was really necessary. But when I watched and I must to confront with the protests inside the West and the surging hate against the West, I decided to stand up with Israel without doubting and verifying its violence in Gaza is effectively needed ». In other days he wrote into the most important Italian liberal newspaper that « Israel must do in Gaza what the Western democracies had to do in Dresda in 1945 to let the western liberalism wins against the nazi-fascism ».

History’s lessons and the challenges at the other side of the opening gates, teach revolutionaries cannot provide a “what is to be done” before the building collapses or before the roof starts to to crack down. We do not have any references we can take from the past. Because the past happened in an historical time when market and unitary capitalism was ascending. The revolution impersonally will present to the vast majority of the global countryside and to larger layers of the metropolis new questions and their sudden discovered answers, moving human being towards a new era. Perhaps, we will forced to pass through the civil war which will injects telluric waves to the rest of the western countries. It will erase any status quo defense options, like we assisted the dissolvement of any two states solution advanced for the Palestinian cause or the chance of a new world still based on the exchange but multipolar order.

What’s next? The new American civil war, which gates are opening, cannot have the outcomes of the past. The first was part of an incredible development of accumulation and fueled by a demographic boom from white Europe. It determined the foundation of the United States, as we knew across the last century and half and it has founded the Great America and the new engine that has leaded the Western Civilization against the rest of the world.

From the second will come out the whole America breakdown and decomposition injected by the historical crisis of a unitary mode of production. It will give a fatal hit to the five hundreds of western civilization history. In some way it is urged by the rest of peoples of colors and by exploited (or proletarians as you prefer) of all latitudes, it is urged by the nature, all forced to be faced by our society’s parasitism against the world. From the inside we are just seeing large layers of new white race traitors that the October 7th Pandora’s box gave a second chance of opportunity. By needs, a new course of water is going to flood the folds of the new American Civil war overwhelming the old ideas and present state of affairs. Perhaps, if these are the materialistic tracked lines by the Capitalism implosion from the inside, we can only accept it and to welcome.
